Windscapes
Windscapes is a four-movement meditation on wind and its interaction with the world around us. Through restrained textures, spacious pacing, and minimalist writing, the work invites listeners to experience wind not as force alone, but as atmosphere: calm, haunting, turbulent, and deeply human.

The opening movement, Ocean's Breeze, evokes the stillness of the shoreline through flowing gestures and drifting textures, while The Singing Tree reflects the haunting resonance of wind moving through architecture, inspired by the Singing & Ringing Tree sculpture in England. Whirlwind shifts into turbulence and intensity, capturing violent gusts through virtuosic motion and restless energy. The closing movement, Exhale, turns inward, transforming breath itself into sound and ending the work in a quiet meditation shaped by stillness, reflection, and peace.
